A 10 minute walk on the main road toward Ocho Rios form the Chrisanns Beach Resort is the Bamboo Beach Club.
It is 4 miles east of Ocho Rios and 6 miles west of Oracabessa
Bamboo Beach Club is generally a quieter alternative to the beaches in Ocho Rios. Being just beyond walking distance of Ocho Rios, Bamboo Beach Club does not attract a large tourist crowd. The beach tends to be more popular with Jamaicans, making for a more "authentic" Jamaican atmosphere.
Outdoor parties are sometimes held there, with Selectors, DJs and Singers blasting through giant sound systems until the early morning.
