I ended up extending my stay at Muriel's apartment. This is a strata property where the 32 apartments are privately owned and some are available for rental. An older property but well maintained with pleasant and efficient staff. Across the road are restaurants and a supermarket that seems to sell everything from a pin to an anchor. The apartment itself is comfortable and had everything I needed. As this is an apartment complex and not a hotel there is no bar or restaurant but I coped nicely with bringing some food, purchasing some and taking a main meal across the road some days. I needed a rest from the city (Kingston) and a swim in the ocean. I achieved my purpose and expect I will be back. It is an easy drive from Kingston and mainly highway
